Art Law is an especially fascinating cross-section spanning matters such as an artistic freedom and funding of the arts, laws concerning acquisition, auction, resale royalties and liabilities of or related to art and cultural property, copyright and design laws and patent laws, the contractual rights and liabilities of galleries and museums as well as art fraud, forgery and theft, international protection of cultural property, tax law and custom laws.

Art Law adresses a large scope of various legal questions and issues, especially with regards to sponsoring art and cultural property and ties to many different areas of the law.
